Delayed Radiation Injury (Soft Tissue Radionecrosis)

Experiencing delayed side effects from previous radiation therapy months or years later? HBOT stimulates vascular repair in radiated tissue.

How It Works

Radiation can cause progressive endarteritis, reducing microvascular blood vessels in the treated area over time. HBOT stimulates capillary growth (angiogenesis), collagen synthesis, and stem cell mobilization, helping to revascularize and heal previously irradiated tissue.

What to Expect

You'll visit daily for 90 to 120-minute sessions. Standard clinical protocols typically range from 30 to 40 sessions to rebuild microvascular support.

The Results

For conditions such as radiation cystitis (bladder hematuria), radiation proctitis, or osteoradionecrosis of the jaw, clinical studies show HBOT significantly reduces symptoms, controls bleeding, and promotes mucosal and tissue healing.
